Sunday Sketch: An eggcellent bird

Chickens who lay the eggs that get sold in grocery stores are called laying hens! They are omnivores, which means they can eat many types of foods like fruits, vegetables, grains and bugs. Laying hens start producing eggs around 6 months of age, and can continue to do so for up to 10 years.
