Did you know that wild rabbits live in colonies, or large groups, where they mostly live underground? They create extensive tunnels, or “warrens,” where they stay unless coming up to look for food by digging in areas where there is lots of food. Domesticated rabbits also like to dig, so it is important to provide them with opportunities to do so safely in the home or backyard.
