White-tailed deer are a species of deer native to the Americas, and is most easily recognized by the white underside of its tail. They are generalists, meaning that can live in a variety of environments, and eat a diverse array of foods. Deer are ruminants, like cows, and have a stomach with 4-chambers. This allows them to eat a variety of foods, including things like leaves, shoots, cacti, acorns, grasses, and much more!
